
Fee Reduction Pilot Program
Promoting reinvestment along Pittsburg’s prominent corridors.
What is it?
In February 2020, the City Council adopted a pilot program to reduce certain development fees along specific corridors to a flat fee of $100.
Which corridors are eligible?
The City has identified three major corridors that are eligible: Railroad Avenue from 3rd Street to Buchanan Avenue; Loveridge Road from East Leland to Pittsburg-Antioch Highway; and West Leland Road from San Marco Blvd. to Bailey Road.
What uses are eligible?
Eligible uses along the W. Leland and Loveridge corridors include hospitals, urgent care, groceries over 20,000 s.f., laboratories, medical offices, vehicles sales (over 3 acres), hotels, condo conversions, and fiberoptic installs.
Any commercial use proposing to renovate a commercial space along the designated Railroad corridor is eligible.
What fees are covered?
Program covers the following fees: Design Review; Subdivision for Condo Conversions; Plumbing, Building, Mechanical and/or Electrical Permits; Document Imaging; Improvement Plan Check; and Improvement Inspection. Fee does not cover Impact or third party fees or fees not listed.
